In
1983, our founders, Steve Bisciotti and Jim
Davis, created Aerotek in Baltimore, Maryland,
USA, a contract services company to provide
technically skilled people in the fast-growing
aerospace industry. They commenced with two
contract employees and two clients. A year
later, the company topped US$1.5 million in
sales. Through organic growth, the organisation
has continued to grow and prosper over the
years, adding new ventures and developing
innovative new tools to help revolutionise
the contract services industry.
Aerotek was launched in the UK in 1993
and, in 2001, the whole Group was rebranded
as the Allegis Group. There are now more
than 300 Allegis Group offices across the
globe that offer a full range of specialised
services to over 4,000 clients across a
variety of industries. With 4,000 permanent
staff placed annually and 70,000 contract
workers on assignment in the U.S., Canada
and Europe, the Allegis Group is the 3rd
largest recruitment consultancy in the USA
and 6th in the world. Global revenues exceeded
US$5 billion in 2006 making us the 6th
largest staffing company worldwide.
Allegis Group Europe is a provider of specialist
staffing and consulting services and operates
from 9 networked offices.
